【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationforthedesignandconstructionofhandfed,shredders/chipperswithintegralpowersourceandwithorwithoutvacuumassistedcollectionwhicharedesignedprimarilytoreduceorganicmaterialtosmallerpieces.Itisonlyapplicabletoshredders/chippersthataredesignedforuseoutdoorsinastationarypositionbyanoperatorstandingontheground.Itappliestoshredders/chipperswithfeedintakeopeningsintheformofasingleopeningoranopeningdividedintoanumberofsegments.Thefeedintakeopeningsorsegmentseachbeingofanyshapethatwillfitintoasquareof250mm×250mmmeasuredattherelevantsafetydistancetothecuttingmeans.NOTEFeedsafetyopeningsarelimitedto250mm×250mmbutthetotalfeedintakeopeningcanbeanysize.Thisstandarddescribesmethodsofeliminationorreductionofhazardsarisingfromtheuseofshredders/chippers.Inadditionitspecifiesthetypeofinformationtobeprovidedbythemanufactureronsafeworkingpractices.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverrequirementsfor:—unitsdrivenbyanexternalpowersource;—mobileuseofunitswhichcanbeusedinbothstationaryandmobilemodes;—unitswithpowereddischargeintendedtobroadcastmaterialorloadvehicles;—unitswithmechanicallypoweredfeedintakeorattachments;—unitswithcuttingmeansofeitheroneormorenon-metallicfilaments,oroneormorenon-metalliccuttingelementspivotallymountedonagenerallycircularcentraldriveunit,wherethesecuttingelementsrelyoncentrifugalforcetoachievecutting,andhaveakineticenergyforeachsinglecuttingmeansoflessthan10J;—electricalaspectsofelectricallydrivenshredders.EnvironmentalhazardsandEMChavenotbeenconsideredinthisstandard.Thisstandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttoshredders/chippers,whentheyareusedasintended(seeclause4).Thisdocumentisnotapplicabletoshredders/chipperswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
